On the other hand, Punjab lags, signalling potential areas of concern. Following Odisha are Chhattisgarh (55.2), which excels in the Debt Index, and Goa (53.6), which shows strong Revenue Mobilisation.
States like Goa demonstrate strong revenue generation, while Bihar struggles significantly in this aspect. Notably, some states with higher FHI scores don't necessarily excel in all categories, emphasising the multifaceted nature of fiscal health.
