Real Madrid has once again claimed the title of the world’s most valuable football club, marking the fourth year in a row—and the ninth time in the past twelve years—that it has secured the top spot in Forbes' rankings. According to the latest report from the financial publication, the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, are now valued at an impressive $6.75 billion. Manchester United is very close to being the most valuable football club after Real Madrid, with a total estimated value of $6.6 billion.
As per Forbes, Real Madrid's estimation was increased by 2% in 2023-24 in comparison to last year in 2022-23. Around $1.3 billion, groundbreaking records were seen in the increment of impressive amounts for the value of soccer.
Forbes also noted that Real Madrid’s Champions League victory in the 2023/24 season played a big role in boosting the club’s worldwide appeal and strengthening its commercial success.
The rise in matchday revenue came from bigger stadiums, higher ticket prices, and more premium experiences for fans. Matchday earnings grew by 11% compared to the previous season, making it the fastest-growing income stream for these clubs. For the first time, ticket sales brought in over €2 billion (€2.1 billion), which made up 18% of all revenue — the highest share since the 2014/15 season, when it was 19%.
