The first one in our list is the Statue of John Barry. The statue is made out of bronze and is 6-foot tall. It was built in honor of Commodore John Barry in the year 1906. Commodore John Barry was an officer of the times of the American Revolutionary war not only in the United States Navy, but also in the Continental Navy. The man was much appreciated for his sheer diligence as the captain and was described as the "Father of American Navy".

These beautiful lions play the role of popular landmarks of the New York City. One may find glimpses of these lions in a myriad of television shows and films.

Christ of the Ozarks
It is on the top of the Magnetic Mountain that one may find the Christ of Ozarks. The sculpture depicts Jesus. The estimated height of the statue is 65.5 feet. It was Gerald L.L. Smith, an American clergyman who erected this monument as a "Sacred Project" in the year 1966. The Christ of Ozarks was designed by Emmet Sullivan.
Mount Rushmore
This interesting sculpture carved into one side of he Mount Rushmore is one of the key attractions of the Mount Rushmore. It was Gutzon Borglum and his son who carved the beautiful sculpture. The Mount Rushmore National Memorial depicts the heads of former presidents Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and US George Washington. It was on March 3, 1925, when these sculptures were carved.
Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is situated on the Liberty Island in New York Harbor. What makes this statue so special is the fact that this statue was issued as a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States. It was a French sculptor, Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, who designed the statue. The statue of the female figure is one of the key attractions of the New York City.
