The inaugural edition of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze witnessed an extraordinary display of sportsmanship in the track and field section by Indian athletes.

The event was highlighted by some stellar performances by Indian athletes such as Murali Shreesankar who jumped 8.13 m to win the gold medal, this was also his season’s best performance.

In women’s javelin throw, Anoo Rani won the gold medal with a winning throw of 62.01 metres. In the 200 metre race, Animesh Kujur won the title by defeating South Korean athlete Ko Sheungwan. He achieved the feat in 20.77 seconds.
