Agra University yet to Declare Results 2019-20 for 24 Courses despite the deadline of 31st October, Get Details Here

Agra University Results 2020 Pending: As per the latest update, Agra based Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University is yet to complete the Result Declaration process for 24 courses for the academic year 2019-20 for now. As per the deadline announced by the UP Government, all universities were to declare Results by 31st October 2020. According to the details shared by Agra University, the result declaration process has been delayed because several colleges affiliated with the varsity are yet to submit marks for the practical exams that were held earlier at college-level.

Results Declared So Far

The Agra University has so far declared the result of 74 UG courses out of total 98 for the session and the results of pending 14 postgraduate courses were declared on 6th November 2020. The B. Sc final year results were earlier declared for 72 out of total of 624 affiliated colleges while results of several other courses including complete results are to be declared as yet.

Official Statement

Rajeev Kumar, Agra University Registrar, was quoted saying that the delay in the declaration of results is caused by the self-financing colleges affiliated to the Agra University as some of these colleges are yet to submit the marks of the practical exams. He said that the varsity has also received complaints that some of these self-financed colleges had awarded marks to their students without conducting exams. As per the official statement, the University had directed all the affiliated colleges to send photos of answer sheets in a CD but so far only a few colleges have provided the same. The Registrar also said that the entire matter will be discussed in the upcoming meeting of the committee appointed by the varsity and strict action will be initiated against colleges causing inordinate delay in result declaration of Agra university results.
