CBSE 12th Board Exam 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to start accepting the application forms from private candidates for CBSE 12th Board Exam 2022 from 2nd December onwards. Online Application Process for Private Candidates

Going by the official update, the CBSE Board will hold the online application process for private candidates who are due to appear for Class 12 Examination. All private candidates who want to appear for CBSE 12^th Class Exam 2022 would be required to register for the exam in online format only via the official website i.e. cbse.gov.in. Along with submission of application form, the fees for Term 2 Exam also has to be paid in online mode by the private candidates. No application will be accepted without the payment of application fees, as per the official notice.

Only Term 2 Exam for Private Candidates

For 2021 session, the CBSE Board Exam 2021-22 for Class 12 students is being held in Two terms i.e. Term 1 and Term 2 for all regular candidates who have registered via schools. But for private candidates, the CBSE 12^th Exam 2022 will continue be held in a single session i.e. only Term 2 Exam will be held and its result will be considered as the final one. The notice linked above also confirmed that that the computation of results for the above mentioned candidates will be in a different way and not like those of regular candidates. 

CBSE 12^th Board Exam – Eligibility Criteria for Private Candidates

The official notice released by the CBSE also provides the details about the eligibility criteria that would be followed by the board for private candidates. The same has been explained in detailed below:

1. Candidates who have been declared as Essential Repeat in 2021
2. Candidates who were placed in Compartment in Main – 2021 Examination
3. Candidates who were placed in Compartment in August / Sept 2021 Exam
4. Candidates who were declared as Fail in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020
5. Candidates who appeared for 2021 exam but want to improve their performance
6. Candidates who passed out in 2021 but want to appear for an additional subject
7. Women Candidates who is a bonafide resident of National Capital Territory of Delhi and has qualified Class X or an equivalent examination from any recoginzed Board in 2020 or earlier
8. Physically Handicapped student who is a bonafide resident of National Capital Territory of Delhi and has qualified Class X or an equivalent examination from any recoginzed Board in 2020 or earlier
9. Students of Patrachar Vidhyalaya of Delhi
