CBSE Term 1 Board Exam 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the pre-examination preparation work for holding the Term 1 Exams in November – December 2022. With the exam season about to get underway for CBSE Board Term 1 Exams, the Board is conducting all the necessary pre-examination checks to ensure that exams are held in seamless manner. Offline Exams at Exam Centres Likely
With the major change in CBSE Board Exam 2022 coming into effect from this term, a major question on mind of every student is about the exam format and mode. Despite just 1 month to go for the CBSE Term 1 Exam, the board has been tight-lipped about it. However, sources close to the board have hinted that CBSE might be considering the option of holding Term 1 Exams in Offline Mode at designated exam centres. This speculation got even more support recently, when CBSE sent out an official mail to respective city coordinators, seeking information regarding Examination Centre & other details. Sources have confirmed that, the mail specifically sought details about photo-copy, printing facility, and other details about exam centre; which hints at the fact that CBSE Board Term 1 Exam may be held as offline examination at designated centres.

OMR Sheets to be Sent Back to CBSE
Another important aspect to keep in mind regarding offline exams for term 1 is that the board has asked the schools to complete the evaluation work for the exams on the same day and upload or send the OMR sheets of the candidates to the Board. The notice specially reads that ‘proposed centre will also have to undertake evaluation work on same day as per the schedule’. Since the answer sheets would be OMR sheet, the evaluation work would essentially refer to uploading of the OMR sheets.
COVID-19 Guidelines to be Followed for Offline Exams
As stated above, the CBSE Board has kept students’ safety as its top concern and priority when it come Term 1 Exams. In line with this, the board has proposed COVID-19 precautionary guidelines to ensure social distancing and hygiene are followed. As part of this, a maximum of 12 students would be allowed in a classroom, and no more. Furthermore, to ensure crowd management and influx of students on the campus, the board is planning to announce a date sheet in which no major examination of Class 10 & Class 12 would be on the same day. Although it is not formally announced, students and parents should expect the CBSE Term 1 Exam to begin from 15th November onwards.
