CISCE ICSE, ISC Semester 2 Time Table after JEE Mains 2022 Notification: Report

CISCE Semester 2 Date Sheet 2022 (OUT): Students awaiting the ICSE and ISC Semester 2 Time Table may have to wait for it a bit longer. As per the latest report, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is expected to release the CISCE ICSE, ISC Semester 2 Time Table 2022 in coming days after the release of JEE Main 2022 Notification. This is being done to avoid a possible clash between JEE Main 2022 Date and ISC Semester 2 Exam 2022, which may pose a problem for the students. Earlier, the CISCE Board had declared that ICSE 10^th and ISC 12^th Semester 2 Exams will be held from the last week of April 2022.

ISC Semester 2 Timetable To Avoid Clash With JEE Main Dates

While thousands of students await declaration of CISCE Semester 2 Date Sheet 2022, the time table is likely to be released only after the release of JEE Main 2022 Notification. The prime reason behind delay in the release of CISCE ICSE and ISC Semester 2 Date Sheet is because of the Board wants to avoid a clash with the JEE Main 2022 Engineering Entrance Exam. Many Class 12 students who would be appearing for ISC Semester 2 Exam will also be appearing for JEE Main 2022 Exam. Therefore, to avoid this problem ISC 12^th Semester 2 Exam Time Table will be released later on.

News Confirmed by CISCE Secretary

The news about CISCE Semester 2 Date Sheet 2022 being released after JEE Main 2022 notification has been confirmed by the Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of the Council of the Indian School Certificate Examinations. In a statement issued to a media agency, Mr Arathoon said that “Once they (the National Testing Agency) publish the dates of the JEE Main and NEET, we will set our dates so there is no clash of dates, especially for math and science subjects.”
