Prof. Yogesh Singh assumed charge as the 23rd Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi on October 8, 2021. His second term begins from October 8, 2026. He is the first Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University to be reappointed for a consecutive second term under the amended university statutes.

Yogesh Singh Reappointed as Delhi University Vice-Chancellor
Prof. Yogesh Singh has extensive experience in higher education administration. Before joining Delhi University, he held senior academic and administrative positions, including serving as Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and Delhi Technological University. He also served in leadership roles at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and its engineering and information technology schools.
