Gujarat Board 10th and 12th Exam 2021: Officials meet to discuss possibility of Postponing Exams, Decision Expected Soon

Gujarat Board 10th and 12th Exam 2021: On Tuesday, The members of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board met to review the chances of postponing the class 10th and 12th amid the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the State. It has been discussed to start the board exams a few weeks later from the released date. However, no final decision has been taken by the board members. They will be meeting again to reconsider the matter soon. Also, the All Gujarat Vali Mandal urged the Chief Minister to postpone the board exams till June. 

As per some of the sources in the State Education Board, "The government may consider delaying the exams by 2-3 weeks but a final decision on it will be announced later." The Gujarat Board class 10th and 12th has been scheduled to be held from 10th to 25th May 2021. Earlier, on Monday, the Maharashtra government decided to postpone class 10th and 12th board exams due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.
