Statistical Analysis

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2019 was declared at 11 AM in a formal declaration ceremony at the DPUE office in Bengaluru. In the recently announced result, a total of 61.73% students cleared the exam of the 6.5 lakh students. The overall pass percentage rose by a marginal 2.15% compared to last year. The overall pass percentage among the girl students was registered at 68.2%.

2nd PUC Result 2019 was declared for all the streams simultaneously i.e. for the Science, Commerce and Arts stream students. Of the total number of colleges, over 80 colleges have registered a perfect 100% success ratio.

The overall pass percentage for respective streams was registered at

• Science stream: 66.58%
• Commerce stream: 66.39%

In terms of district-wise performance, Udupi district has repeated its achievement by registering the highest success ratio in the PUC Result 2019. Dakshin Kannada district is the second best performing district for the Class 12 Result. The overall pass percentage of the PUC Result 2019 was registered at 61.73 per cent with girls outperforming boys by scoring 68.2 per cent.

In line with the last year’s trend, the schools and colleges from rural areas have registered 62.88 pass percentage as compared to 61.38% success ratio in urban areas.
