ICSE ISC Exam 2022

ICSE, ISC Semester 1 Exam Guidelines Released: With the exam dates approaching fast, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released exam guidelines for the upcoming ICSE, ISC Semester 1 Exams for Class 10 and 12 students. The guidelines released today are for the semester 1 ICSE and ISC exams which are scheduled to be held from 29th and 22nd November, respectively. The exam guidelines are important for students, teachers and the exam authorities to ensure that the exams are held in compliance with the COVID-19 guidelines and protocols. Both Semester Exams Mandatory

For 2022 Board Exams, the ICSE and ISC Exam have been split and will be held into two sessions or semesters. As per the guidelines released by the CISCE Board, all students have to mandatorily appear for both the semester exams i.e. semester 1 which is scheduled to be held in November and semester 2 is going to be held in March – April 2021. The exam syllabus has also been bifurcated into two with 50% of the syllabus being covered in each semester. The term 1 exams will be held for objective type questions.

CISCE Semester 1 Exam – Important Guidelines

  • Mandatory to Appear for Both Semesters: Students should note that it is mandatory for them to appear for both semester exams.
  • Semester 1 Admit Cards: The hall tickets or admit cards for Semester 1 exam will be made available by the board to Heads of their respective schools and students will be able to collect the same from them
  • Questions to be Answered: Students are advised to answer only that number of questions as mentioned in the Question Paper- cum - Answer Booklet
  • Candidate Signature: Candidates will be required to put their signatures in the space provided at the top of the sheet of the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet
  • Exam Paper Discrepancy: If an examination paper for which the candidate has not entered is handed to him/her, he/she must immediately bring this to the attention of the Supervising Examiner
  • Unique ID and Index Numbers: Candidates must clearly write their Unique ID (Unique Identification Number) and Index Number on the top-sheet of the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet in the space provided.
  • Usage of Pens: All entries on the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet must be made with Black/Blue ink pen only
  • Use of Calculators: Students will be allowed to use simple electronic calculators
