KCET 2025: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has changed the exam date for the Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. The date of the exam has been moved to April 15, 2025.
KCET 2025 Kannada Language Exam Date Changed
The exam was originally scheduled for April 18, but candidates asked for a modification because that day falls on Good Friday. As directed by the administration, KEA changed the date. The exam will take place at district centers in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.
"The UGCET-25 Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be conducted on April 15 instead of April 18," the official notice said. Nonetheless, the CET exam will proceed as planned on April 16 and 17. Soon, the admission card will be accessible for download.
KCET 2025: No Changes in Other Exam Dates
Additionally, the notice affirmed that the Karnataka CET 2025 for other applicants will still take place on April 16 and 17, as planned. The official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, will shortly allow candidates who have enrolled and paid the exam fee to download their admit cards.
KCET 2025 Exam Pattern
KEA further explained that, in contrast to other KEA competitive exams, which have five alternatives for multiple-choice questions, the KCET 2025 question paper will contain four response choices per question.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, Karnataka institutions will administer the KCET 2025 admission exam for undergraduate engineering, medical, and other professional programs.
