Pune: More than 13.8 lakh students who are waiting for their HSC Result 2016 Maharashtra Board is going to be end in few minutes as Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declares the Maharashtra HSC results 2016 today at 1 p.m. Hard copies of the MAH HSC results 2016 will be available in your colleges on 3 June, 2016 from 3 pm onward. If you want to re-evaluate your February-March 2016 papers, you need to submit photocopies of the concerned subject to the regional officer by paying a nominal fee. If you want to apply for the Class Improvement Scheme then you may take the exams in July 2016 or February-March 2017.

Maharashtra Board Result will be declared from the Pune office of the MSBSHSE. Maharashtra minister of school education Shri Vinod Tawde along with Maharashtra Board chairman Shri G.K.Mhamane will unveil the HSC Results. After the formal declaration by the dignitaries, students will be able to check their results online at maharashtra12.jagranjosh.com and on official website mahresult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in.

Exam Schedule and Student Participation

This year, the Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination 2016 was held from 18 February, 2016 till 28 March, 2016 at 2,581 centres across the state. A total of 13,88,467 students from 8,818 colleges have appeared for the coveted Maharashtra HSC Board Exam. Of the total number of students, 7,82,181 are male candidates and 6,06,286 are female students while 44,430 were repeater students. In terms of streamwise bifurcation, Science has the highest number of students with 5,02,248 candidates, followed by Arts with 4,70,161 and Commerce with 3,55,802. Nearly 60,255 students have also appeared for the vocational stream HSC exam this year.
