MHT CET 2021: As per the media reports, the Maharashtra State CET cell is expected to announce the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) exam date 2021 soon. The date will be available on the official website. Going as per the trends, the exam conducting authority usually releases the CET exam date after the declaration of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results. Since the results have been released, the authorities will soon declare the MHT CET exam date 2021 at mhtcet2021.mahacet.org.
As per the speculations, the MHT CET 2021 exam is expected to be conducted in August. Recently, Uday Samant, Maharashtra higher and technical education minister also hinted to conduct the MHT CET exam in the second week of August.
MHT CET 2021: Paper Pattern
MHT CET is held for three papers - Paper 1 (Mathematics), Paper 2 (Physics, Chemistry) and Paper 3 (Biology). Each section of the paper will be 100 marks and the duration to solve each subject will be 90 minutes. The MHT CET 2021 will be conducted in two phases- the first phase will be for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and the second phase will be in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM). The candidate will have a choice of appearing in any one or both examinations.
For the MHT CET 2021 exam, there will be no negative marking and the difficulty level of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections will be akin to JEE Main and for the Biology section, it will be the same as the NEET UG exam. As per the marking scheme, 20 per cent weightage will be given to the Class 11 syllabus and 80 per cent weightage will be given to the Class 12 syllabus.
MHT CET 2021: Application Procedure
The exam conducting authority has already concluded the MHT CET 2021 application procedure. The last date to fill the MHT CET application form 2021 was 15th July. However, the authorities might release the correction window as well for the candidates. The same will be released on the official website and it will be updated here on this page too.
