MHT CET Counselling 2019: As per the latest report, Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test has extended the dates for acceptance of Seats allotted to the candidates in CAP Round 1. The official notification on the topic states that the timeline for ARC activity for the acceptance of seat after the announcement of CAP i.e. Common Admission Process – Round 1 has been extended for qualified candidates. The state CET Cell has extended the timeline for candidates to report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) until 18th July 2019.
As per the original timeline, the State CET Cell was expected to announce the seat matrix for the second round of counselling on July 16, 2019 and was due to begin the counselling process from July 17. However, now that the ARC timeline for CAP Round 1 has been extended until 18th July, the Seat Matrix for 2nd CAP Round will be released after 19th July 2019 – Friday.
The notification also states that the following two category candidates have to report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) by 18th July 2019 to complete the admission formalities and freeze their admissions.
Candidates with Auto-freeze seats
Candidates who have been allotted the seats in CAP Round 1 as per their preference will have their seats frozen automatically. Therefore, such candidates must report to ARC / Admission Reporting Centres to complete the admission formalities. Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds for CAP.
Candidates who have Self-frozen their Seats
Candidates, who have been allotted seats other than the ones they had listed as their preference and those who have accepted these seats and frozen the same by logging into their respective accounts are expected to report to ARCs to complete the admission formalities. Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in the any further rounds of CAP.
