Mumbai University: As per the notification released by the authorities, Mumbai University will hold exams in offline mode for all the professional courses including Engineering, Law, Management, Pharmacy etc. However, for all the traditional courses, the semester exam will be held in online mode.
After a gap of two years, Mumbai University will be conducting the offline exam. The authorities released a notification regarding the summer exam yesterday on the official website. As of now, it is yet to take a final call on the final semester exams for all undergraduate traditional courses.

Mumbai University Offline Exam
As per the notice issued, the offline exam in Mumbai University will have a mix of multiple-choice questions and descriptive questions. Also, the revaluation will be provided to the students who will be writing descriptive answers. For semesters 1, 3 and 5 (backlog) in traditional undergraduate courses, online exams will commence 25th March while semester 4 exams - also online - will start from April 4. However, first-year students will be giving semester 2 exams in offline mode from May 11.
For postgraduate courses, semesters 1 and 3 exams (backlog) will be held online from May 2, but semesters 2 and 4 will be offline. The schedule and question papers for these two exams will be issued by Mumbai University soon. Most online exams in traditional courses will be held in MCQ format. Timetable will be common for all colleges in clusters.
Mumbai University Professional Courses Exam
This time, the university has decided to conduct exams for all professional courses, including engineering, MCA and pharmacy, in the offline mode. A uniform schedule and question papers will be given by the University. For these three courses, 60 marks in the paper will be for descriptive questions.
Offline Exam To Be Held at College Level
All offline exams will be held at college level after consultation with local district administration. Papers given descriptive format can be given for revaluation, but the ones in MCQ format cannot be reevaluated.
Students who miss out on the online exams for technical reasons will be given an additional attempt. Colleges have been asked to inform about the mode and format of the exams to the students.
