The Chartered Accountancy (CA) test is one of the most difficult in India, and thousands of students strive to pass it. But only a select handful are able to achieve success through unrelenting enthusiasm and perseverance. One of these remarkable people is CA Nandini Agrawal, who at the age of 19 not only passed the test but also received an All India Rank (AIR) 1. She holds the Guinness World Record for being the youngest female chartered accountant in India.

Early Academic Excellence

From an early age, Nandini Agrawal, who was born in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, shown remarkable academic ability. She completed her Class 10 board examinations at the age of 13 and her Class 12 exams at the age of 15, accelerating her schooling by skipping two grades. Her aspirations to become a Chartered Accountant (CA) were paved with this early success.

Guinness World Record Accomplishment

Nandini became the youngest female chartered accountant in history at the age of 19 years and 330 days, a distinction acknowledged by the Guinness World Records. She outperformed over 83,000 competitors and achieved All India Rank 1 with a remarkable 614 out of 800 marks (76.75%) in the July 2021 CA final examinations.

Family Influence and Sibling Support

The assistance of her older brother, Sachin Agrawal, who also took the CA examinations with Nandini, was crucial to her achievement. Sachin placed 18th on the exam, while Nandini was the top scorer. Their accomplishments were largely due to their cooperative study sessions and support of one another. Their father, Naresh Chandra Gupta, a tax practitioner, and mother, Dimple Gupta, a homemaker, provided a supportive environment that nurtured their ambitions .
