NEET PG 2024 SC Hearing: The Supreme Court of India will resume the NEET PG 2024 hearing on Monday, September 30. The hearing is being held for petitions filed challenging the NBEMS's decision to withhold question papers, answer keys and the response sheets of students who attempted the NEET PG 2024 exams.
The petition has been filed by aspirants over the lack of transparency in the marking scheme followed for the NEET PG results. NEET PG result was announced on August 23, 2024. The petition seeks transparency in the examination process with the petitioners arguing that the the lack of disclosure hinders the ability of candidates to verify their scores and understand the marking scheme.

NEET PG 2024 Previous SC Hearing
In the previous hearing held on September 20, 2024, the SC bench led by CJU DY Chandrachud expressed its dissatislast-minuteh the last minute changes made to the exam pattern which has been requested by the petitioner's counsel. The CJI questions the changes implemented just days before the exam causing stress among students. NBEMS has also been directed to provide an accurate explanation about the last-minute change.
NEET PG Counselling 2024
Although a final judgment regarding the NEET PG 2024 exam is awaited, the Medical Counselling Committee commenced the NEET PG counselling registration process on September 20, 2024. Students who have cleared their NEET PG exams can register for the counselling process through the link available at mcc.nic.in. It must however be noted that the complete counselling schedule with details of all three counselling rounds is awaited and is expected to be issued by officials soon.
