NEET Result 2021: As per the updates, National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to soon release the result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 examination. However, there has been no official notification regarding the same but based on previous trends, the NEET result will likely be released by the end of October 2021. The authorities have closed the window to raise objections to the provisional answer key of NEET 2021 yesterday on 17th October. With that NTA will review the objections raised and prepare the final answer key. Based on the NEET 2021 final answer key, the result for NEET medical and dental entrance examination will be released.
Over 16 lakh candidates have appeared for the UG medical/ dental entrance examination this year. NEET UG was conducted on 12th September in pen and paper mode across the country. NTA will be releasing the result along with the All India Merit List for the students for All India Quota Counseling.
How To Check NEET Result 2021?
NTA releases the result about 14 days after the answer key is released. Since NEET 2021 answer key was released on 15th October, it is expected that the result will be announced by 29th and 30th October 2021. Go through the steps provided below to check NEET Result 2021 -
- Step 1 - Go to the official website of NTA NEET - neet.nta.nic.in.
- Step 2 - On the homepage, go to the 'Download Result' tab.
- Step 3 - Enter the roll number, password or date of birth and security pin.
- Step 4 - NEET 2021 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 5 - Download and print the scorecard for future reference.
NEET Result 2021 and Merit List
National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the merit list of the candidates based on the NEET result 2021. An overall NEET merit list is also released which has details of all the candidates who have cleared the examination. The merit lists of NEET are then shared by the NTA with the different bodies responsible for the counselling process.

Based on these lists, MCC and various counselling authorities will prepare their seat allotment lists. Counselling for All India 15% Quota seats would be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee. Based on reports, the Counseling is expected to begin from November 1. However, no official schedule has been released.
