NIRF Engineering Rankings 2020: HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today announced the NIRF Rankings 2020 identifying the top higher education institutions in the country. The Rankings were released today through a virtual ceremony that was held online and was attended by HRD Miniter and Minister of State for HRD Shri Sanjay Dhotre. They were also joined by UGC's Chairman D.P. Singh and other dignitaries and official from the ministry. NIRF Rankings 2020 – Top Engineering Institutes
IIT Madras hit a hat-trick in the NIRF Engineering Rankings 2020 by clinching the top spot in the overall as well as in Engineering category as the best higher education institute. The top 3 positions in Engineering Rankings remain unchanged for 2020 with IIT Madras, Delhi and Bombay securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd Positions respectively.
In last two years, the crown of being the best engineering college in India has remained with IIT Madras, which has bagged the top rank in the 2018 and 2019 rankings. On the other hand IIT Delhi has fluctuated its position on 2nd and 3rd Rank over the last two years.
