TCS iON, a unit of Tata Consultancy Services has launched ‘Remote Internships’ - a digital internship programme which will be useful to connect the students directly with corporates and thor industry mentors.
The product will facilitate a structured learning environment for the students which will also remotely execute various internship projects. The launch of this project is considered to be most useful for the students especially during the pandemic situation which has caused them to be locked up in one place for a long period of time.

The product will be offering the student's internship opportunities around the year which will also be available during the pandemic situation, the product will also provide companies with a patterned digital framework as per the AICTE Guidelines since the engineering colleges are affiliated to the same.
A statement released by the company has stated that the TCS iON Remote Internship product will help companies post internship opportunities online which the students can browse through to see what project themes are trending at the moment and apply for the same, it has also been stated that credits will be awarded depending on the kind of project chosen by the students.

Powered by TCS iON Digital Learning Platform, the Remote Internships will activate a structured learning environment for the students and also provide them with ready access to mentors in the different corporates. The students will also be supplied with industry curated study materials, project videos or webinars and the students will be able to interact and share the innovative ideas with their mentors and peers using the social format.

TCS iON Global Head Venguswamy Ramaswamy while speaking about the programme stated that TCS iON has launched the project in time for the summer internships which will bring the industry and the students together on a single digital platform. He also added that with the help of the product the organisation hopes to enable streamlines and uninterrupted learning for the students in trending industry topics which will ensure that they earn their academic credits even in the midst of the pandemic.
