Bengaluru Schools Closed Tomorrow: According to media reports, schools, colleges and other educational institutions in Bangalore will remain closed tomorrow, October 16, 2024. The order has been issued by Bengaluru Urban district collector Jagadeesha. The holiday has been announced due to the orange alert issued in the city due to extreme weather conditions.
Bengaluru has been receiving continuous rain since earlier this morning with several reports of waterlogging and traffic jams in multiple locations. Schools have been closed and most of the schools have been asked to conduct online classes for students from higher classes. Students from lower classes will be given assignments to be completed at homes, reports further state.
It must be noted that October 17, 2024 is a public holiday in Karnataka on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti.
