UPSEE 2020 Exam Postponed: As per the latest update, APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has decided to postpone the state-level engineering entrance exam i.e. UPSEE 2020 to September 2020 in the light of COVID-19 pandemic. UPSEE 2020 exam will now be held on 20th September. As per the schedule announced earlier, the UPSEE 2020 state-level entrance exam was to be held on 2^nd August 2020, but it has now been shifted to Sept, after NTA decided to postpone JEE Main and NEET 2020 exam. UPSEE 2020 Postponed After JEE Main, NEET 2020 Deferment

The decision to postpone UPSEE 2020 entrance exam comes in the wake of the postponement of the national level entrance exams by NTA. Earlier on Friday, HRD Minister announced that JEE Main 2020 engineering entrance exam and NEET 2020 medical entrance exam were being postponed to September 2020 in the light of the rising number of Coronavirus cases in the country. Following this, AKTU, which is entrusted the task of holding the UPSEE 2020 exam, has also decided to postpone the UPSEE 2020 exam until September 2020. This is the second time UPSEE 2020 exam is being postponed this year; earlier the exam was to be held on 10^th May 2020 and was rescheduled due to Coronavirus pandemic.

About UPSEE 2020

UPSEE 2020 or the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is a state-level entrance exam that is held by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). The exam is a gateway for admission to all the Technical Institutions / Colleges affiliated to the AKTU, Lucknow. In addition to this, several other technical institutions in the state also accept UPSEE 2020 score to admit students. Last year, around 1.6 lakh students appeared for UPSEE entrance exam.
