
Xavier School of Management will be conducting the 64th Annual Convocation Ceremony of the institution on February 20, 2021. The ceremony will be conducted in the virtual mode to bid farewell to the 2018-20 batch of students.
According to reports, the institute will be presenting certificates to 527 students of the postgraduate programmes in Management from which 182 students are BM, 189 from HRM, 104 from 15 month PGDM (General Management), 13 from Fellow programme in Management (FPM) and 48 from 2017-2020 batch of PGDM-BM programme (Evening)
Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited - Sanjiv Mehta will be the Chief Guest at the ceremony and will also be delivering the convocation address. XLRI Director - Father P Christie SJ while speaking about the convocation ceremony stated that the convocation is the most significant event in the academic year of students and is the completion of the forts put by the students during their time at the XLRI campus.

The convocation will be conducted in the virtual mode keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. Board of Governors Chairman - TV Narendran stated that for over seven decades the institution has been on the mission of providing world-class education across management-centric programmes.
Narendran further added that the institution strives to create a value-based and ethics driven teaching and learning environment while underlining the need for all-round development. The emphasis on inculcating important core-level values is what sets the institution apart from the other B-Schools he also pointed out.
