19000 Graduates and PG Applications Received for 114 Sweeper Posts in Amroha Municipal Corporation

Amroha Municipal Corporation (Nagar Palika Amroha), Uttar Pradesh notified recruitment for 114 vacancies for the posts of Sweeper for which 19000 applications are received so far.

The work in the profile includes cleaning of streets with brooms and maintaining municipal sewer lines and drainage. Salary offered for this post is Rs. 17000/- per month. However, the increased numbers of applications are received from B.A., B.Sc., MA, B.Tech. and MBA qualified candidates. It is estimated that more number of applications would be received.

As per the guidelines set for the recruitment, no educational qualifications are required to apply for the post of sweeper. The post does not require any set of particular qualification as the work is based completely on manual power.

As no educational qualification is required for the post, there is no such exam scheduled for the same. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their application and the interview conducted by the recruiting body.
