Eligibility Criteria for Professor, Additional Professor and other Job

Educational Qualification:

• Professor: A Medical Qualification included in the Ist or IInd schedule or Part 2nd of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part 2nd of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act). Post Graduate qualification in concerned medical trade and min 14 years experience.
• Additional Professor: A Medical Qualification included in the Ist or IInd schedule or Part 2nd of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part 2nd of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act). Post Graduate qualification in concerned medical trade and min 10 years experience.
• Associate Professor: A Medical Qualification included in the Ist or IInd schedule or Part 2nd of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part 2nd of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act). Post Graduate qualification in concerned medical trade and min 6 years experience.
• Assistant Professor: A Medical Qualification included in the Ist or IInd schedule or Part 2nd of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part 2nd of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act). Post Graduate qualification in concerned medical trade and min 3 years experience. Age limit: As on 30 November 2019 shall be not exceeding 58 (Fifty eight) years in case of Professor/Additional Professor and Fifty years in case of Associate Professor/Assistant Professor.

How to Apply

The eligible applicants can apply for the posts through the offline mode on or before 30 November 2019. The application in the prescribed Performa available in the PGIMER, Chandigarh website (www.pgimer.edu.in) along with copies of certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer in support of educational qualifications, experience, Age or Date of Birth certificate, No Objection Certificate from the present employer, if employed and one copy of challan form should be sent through registered post or Speed Post or personally only to the Administrative Officer (Recruitment Cell), PGIMER, Sector-12, Chandigarh 160012 so as to reach before 30 November 2019 till 01:00 PM. All the documents furnished with the application shall have to be produced in original by the eligible candidates at the time of interview.
