Eligibility Criteria

1. Radio Operator: Candidates should possess Graduation in Science/ Engineering from a recognized university or BCA from a recognised university or Diploma in Electronics and electrical, electronics and communication, electronics or computer science engineering from a recognised university.  Knowledge in computer applications is desirable.

2. Cipher Operator: Candidates should possess Graduation in Science/ Engineering from a recognized university or BCA from a recognised university or Diploma in Electronics and electrical, electronics and communication, electronics or computer science engineering from a recognised university.  Knowledge in computer applications is desirable.

3. Radio Technician: Candidates should have passed 12th Std (Senior Secondary School Examination) from recognized board/ university and have Diploma in Radio Technology/ Electronics/ Telecommunication issued by a recognized institute.

Age limit (as on 7 November, 2014)

18-30 years for general candidates

18-30 years for OBC candidates

18-35 years for female candidates

Pay scale

1. Radio Operator: PB2 Rs 9300-32800+GP of 4200

2. Cipher Operator: PB2 Rs 9300-34800+GP of 4200
3. Radio Technician: PB2 Rs 9300-34800+GP of 4200

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical endurance test, written test, interview/ personality test and medical examination.

Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of age proof, qualification certificates/ mark sheets, OBC category certificate, 3 passport size photographs (one should be affixed in the space given in the application form and other 2 should be attached along with application form) etc & other relevant documents to Dy Superintendent of Police (HQ), Police Head Quarter, Atlanta Point, Port Blair before 7 November, 2014.
