Andhra Bank Recruitment of Sportspersons 2011

Andhra Bank invites applications from talented Sportspersons for their Men's Team in Cricket and Kabaddi for appointment in Officer/ Clerical/ Sub-staff Cadre. It invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment as Sportspersons.

Number of Vacancies

Appointments may be made in Officer/ Clerical/ Sub-staff Cadre depending upon the suitability of the candidates.

• Cricket: 9 vacancies
• Kabaddi: 4 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria

• Officer: Should have represented the Country or won the Arjuna Award or represented the State for at least 3 continuous years. Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
• Clerical: Should have represented the State in a National event or the District in a State level event with distinction or his University in an Inter-university event with distinction or should have been a member of the Combined Universities Team. Educational Qualification: Should have passed 10th Standard.
• Sub Staff: Should have represented the District in a State level event or should have participated in an All India School event. Educational Qualification: VIII Standard pass but should not have passed 10+2 examination.

Age Limit

• Officer: Minimum 21 years; Maximum 30 years
• Clerical: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 28 years
• Sub Staff: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 25 years

Maximum 27 years. Relaxation in age limit will be admissible as per the rules laid by Central Government

Pay Scale

• Officers: Rs 14500- 600/7- 18700- 700/2- 20100- 800/7- 25700
• Clerks: Rs 7200- 400/3- 8400- 500/3- 9900- 600/4- 12300- 700/7- 17200- 1300/1- 18500- 800/1- 19300
• Sub-staff: Rs 5850- 200/4- 6650- 250/5- 7900- 300/4- 9100- 350/3- 10150- 400/3- 11350 (20 years)

Application Fee: Application fee of Rs 400 for Officer Cadre, Rs 300 for Clerical, and Rs 150 Sub Staff in the form of Demand Draft / bank Postal Order needs to be paid by Unreserved/ OBC candidates. Only postal charges of Rs 50 will be charged from SC/ ST candidates.

The Demand Draft/ BPO issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank Payable at Hyderabad in favour of Andhra Bank.
