Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission (CGPSC) invited online applications for the State Forest Service Exam 2016 for recruitment to 62 vacancies in Assistant Forest Conservator and Forest Ranger posts. Candidates can submit their applications on or before 12 May 2016.
The Commission announced vacancies for recruitment to Assistant Forest Conservator and Forest Ranger posts in the State Forest Department. Applications are invited from candidates with a minimum educational qualification of graduation in Agriculture, Botany, Environment Science, Forestry, Geo-science, Horticulture, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Zoology, and Life Science. (In addition candidates are also required to have Biology, Physics or Chemistry as one of the subjects in Higher Secondary.)
The age limit criteria set by the Commission is 21-30 years (Details related to age relaxation norms can be found from the link given below).
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview. The written examination will be held at various centres across Raipur, Durg-Bhilai, Jagdalpur, Ambikapur and Bilaspur. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online along with application fees of Rs 400 (Rs 300 for reserved category).
