Read to find details regarding the number of attempts allowed to appear in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2012 by ASRB

Q: I had appeared twice in ARS examination conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board earlier. Can I apply for the test again in 2012?

A: Yes, you can appear for the examination to be conducted in 2013 as the number of attempts allowed for all candidates (whether MSc/ PhD or internal candidates of ICAR) is four (4) times. However, this limitation is not applicable to SC and ST candidates, who are otherwise eligible.

Candidate must notice that those who had appeared in the test earlier to ARS examination 1996, their attempt will not be counted under the number of attempts made.  Further, it must be noted that candidate’s attempt in the prelims will be deemed to be an attempt at the exam. Moreover, the admission seeker’s disqualification or cancellation of candidature on appearance in the exam will be considered as an attempt.
