Bank of India notified cut off for interview which will tentatively start from 26 March 2012 for recruitment of 1800 General Banking Officers in Scale-I (Probationary Officers). The cut off for interview was notified on 12 March 2012 for different category candidates.
As per the notice by Bank of India dated 27 December 2011, the cut off for interview for different category candidates will be as follows
- General Category (Gen): 167
- Schedule Caste (SC): 154
- Schedule Tribe (ST): 151
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 164
- Hearing Impairment (HI): 117
- Orthopaedically Challenged (OC): 156
- Visually Challenged (OV): 141
A total of 5820 candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit are called for the interview in the ratio of 1:3. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the interview which will be of 100 marks wherein minimum qualifying marks are 50% for General category and 45% for reserved category.
Bank of India was founded on 7th September, 1906 by a group of eminent businessmen from Mumbai and was nationalised in July 1969. The Bank has 3752 branches in India spread over all states/ union territories including specialized branches that are controlled through 50 Zonal Offices.
