BArch Programme launched by IGDTUW

    After the approval from the Council of Architecture, the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) has launched BArch programme in their academic syllable. Those who are interested to take up the course can apply within 10 July 2015. The selection for the 40 seats in offer would be made keeping in mind the Class XII marks (40% weightage) and JEE Main Paper 2 score (60% weightage).

    The programme would be of five year long and include topics such as architectural design, architectural graphics skills, building construction technology, structural design and systems, basic design and virtual arts, history of architecture, art and culture, building services and equipment, workshop practices and site exposure, building materials and science, surveying and leveling, estimation, costing, and specification writing, climatology, environmental studies, and landscape, humanities, human settlements and vernacular architecture and computer applications in architecture (non- graphics).

    The fees for the newly launched course would be Rs. 75,000 per year.
