Bihar Government Notified 3500 Vacancies Under BRLP

“Jivika” is an ambitious project of Bihar Government for Eradication of Poverty from the state. The project is aimed at offering / generating means of livelihood to rural people, especially those belonging to poor / low income group. Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLP) aims at spreading the “Jivika” mission to 534 blocks of 38 districts through National Rural Livelihood Mission.

For successful expansion and implementation of the programme, Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLP) issued notification for recruitment of 3500 Community Coordinators. Interested candidates can apply through online mode or offline mode till 21 November, 2012.

Age Limit (as on 21 November, 2012):

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 37 years (for General category); 40 years (for OBC); 42 years (for SC/ST) (Male candidates)
        40 years (for General/OBC); 42 years (for SC/ST) (Female candidates)

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in any Discipline from a recognized university (For Male candidates)
10th Pass OR higher educational qualification from a recognized institution / school / University / Board (For female candidates)

Job Responsibilities: Community Coordinator would be based at village level and would be required to identify poor / low income families in the villages, bring them together as Self Help Groups (SHGs), help these SHGs get loans from Financial Institutions/ Banks to start their work and train them towards growth / development, thus help them progress.

Each Community Coordinator will be required to operate in 6-7 villages of a particular cluster in a block.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, Project Work (Internship) and Presentation -- Internship model of Selection.

The written test will have objective type questions on General Knowledge, Reasoning and Mathematics.  Those clearing the written examination will be required to stay in the rural areas/ villages for 45 days (internship) and work/ assist in the running projects.  

At the end of the 45 days internship, candidates would be required to make a presentation on the work done by them. They would be evaluated for the work done by them during the internship period and on the presentation. Final selection list would be made keeping in mind, candidates’ performance during the internship.

under the aegis of “Jivika”.

Stipend: Candidates would be paid Rs. 4500 as stipend for the 45 day internship.

Emoluments: Consolidate pay of Rs.7900 per month.   

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates can apply online or offline till 21 November 2012.

To obtain the application form, candidates would be required to register through the website. On successful registration, candidates would be issued an application form with a unique registration number.

ONLINE MODE:

Those applying online, should fill in the form and deposit it online only.

OFFLINE MODE:

Candidates applying offline would  be required to take a print out of the application form. The application form has three sections, Section a, Section B and Section C. Candidates would be required to fill in all the three sections and send original copy of Section A, photocopy of Section B and hand written copy of Section C along with attested photo copies of relevant documents to “The TMI Network, Carrer Center, PG Road, Secunderabad – 500 003″ so as to reach the office by 21 November 2012 (1700 hrs) by Ordinary Post/Speed Post/Courier.

Envelope containing the application should be super-scribed with “Name of the Post, Post Code, Application No., Category and address.”
