Can I get a job in CBI after clearing SSC examination?

SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination allows the candidates to opt for different officer level jobs in different departments. Candidates could get selected as Sub Inspector or CBI officer in Central Bureau of Investigation through CGL examination conducted by SSC.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) offers various job opportunities to aspiring candidates who are willing to join the government job sector at different ministries and departments of the government of India. The recruitment is made for the offices that are situated in various parts of the country. The job opportunities are made public through official notifications and are available for the aspiring and eligible candidates to take up through due process of recruitment. Eligibility for getting job in CBI through SSC

SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination allows the candidates to opt for different officer level jobs in different departments. Candidates could get selected as Sub Inspector or CBI officer in Central Bureau of Investigation through CGL examination conducted by SSC. Those candidates who are interested in being associated with the field need to clear all the recruitment hurdles that work as obstructions. Candidates applying for the post must have a Graduation Degree from any recognized university with at least 55% marks in aggregate. The candidates must be 20 to 27 years of age in order to be eligible to apply for the Sub Inspector post in CBI through SSC CGL examination. Candidates who are willing to get through to the office of CBI need to undergo a set of examinations for which they need to be physically and mentally prepared.

Steps of getting job in CBI through SSC

Candidates need to first go through the preliminary examination which his conducted by SSC. The date of the preliminary examination would be inscribed in the official notification when published. The candidates need to be aware of the fact that thousands of candidates would take part in this part of the examination. Candidates should prepare themselves well for the examination in order to crack it and move to the second round which is the Mains examination round. This round would carry questions tougher and more in numbers than the prelims. The level of the questions would be of secondary and graduate level. Those candidates who get through to this round, land up in physical test round in which physical attributes and fitness of the candidates are checked. Physical fitness is an important component in this post and thus needs to be maintained while getting selected. Finally the candidates are tested through the personal interview round in which the candidates are interviewed by a panel of experts.
