This year 1,94,516 candidates registered for the Common Admission Test (CAT) which is lesser than previous year+ for admissions to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other leading B-schools and management institutions all across India.
Prometric agency helped in conducting online CAT test issued a press release mentioning that candidates who arrived on time with having proper documentation along, effectively finished their tests. CAT Exam 2013 occurred from October 16 till November 11.
"CAT continues to draw interest as India's most recognisable entrance examination, and this year's testing window was no exception. This year's testing window was conducted smoothly and we will announce results early in 2014," said
Rohit Kapoor, CAT 2013 convener informed that CAT continued to draw interest in India’s most familiar entrance exam for management programmes, this year as well testing occurred smoothly, for which the results will be announced early in 2014.
The results, likely to be declared on 14 January 2014 that candidates can get through www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in.
The total IIM seats currently on offer are 3335, after 115 seats being added more this year, for B-School admissions.
