Mar 15, 2014 15:12 IST

A website has uploaded questions, it asserts, from a leaked paper for CBSE of Class XII Biology exam to be held on Saturday & stated that “leaked handwritten question papers were being sold in Manipur”.

The website www.hueiyenlanpao.com, had previously uploaded 3 sets of CBSE Class XII Physics paper, destined for Manipur. This had led CBSE to call off the paper in Manipur state & proclaim a fresh examination on 2nd April.

CBSE is yet to corroborate that Biology paper has been leaked. “There are 3 to 4 sets of paper dispersed in each area. So, there is an option that these questions would not come into view in Saturday’s paper,” said a CBSE representative. The website said, “We have stumbled upon these questions & we are uploading them on our website for the public to determine whether the identical questions are being asked in Biology examination to be held on Saturday”.

Previously this month, the website had uploaded 3 sets of Class XII Physics paper for AISSCE. It said the leaked Physics question paper was put on the market between Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 in the state.  Afterwards, the Board ingrained that the Physics question paper was leaked in the Manipur state. Around 4,000 students will take Physics test in all the centers in the Manipur state. The Biology examination paper carries 100 marks that include 30 marks for practical examination. In the year 2011, there was a case of the CBSE Class XII paper getting leaked in Andaman & Nicobar Islands in which 4 people were crooked and decreed to life. But no re - examination was structured.
