CBSE through a press release clarifies that leaked NEET-2 Paper was not original. CBSE further added that the board has successfully conducted National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test - 2 (NEET - 2) on 24th July, 2016 across the nation including Srinagar. The material seized from the persons involved in the leakage of paper by Uttarakhand Police is entirely different from the original question paper of CBSE NEET - 2. This was an attempt made by some fraud people to cheat the applicants on false promises and news regarding leakage of question paper was false and very far from facts.
Approximately 4.5 lakhs candidates have registered to appear in CBSE NEET - 2 examination at various centres across the nation for Approximately 40,000 MBBS & BDS seats under 15 per cent quota seats in government colleges.
The final result for NEET - 2 is expected to be declared on August 17 and the counselling session for the qualified NEET - 2 candidates would begin from August 18 till September 30.
