Competency-Based Question Weightage for Class 10 Board Exams 2025
For the academic sessions 2023-24 and 2024-25, there is no change in the structure of the question paper for the year-end or Board examinations. The composition remains the same, with 50% of the paper focusing on competency-based questions. These could include multiple-choice questions (MCQs), case-based questions, or source-based integrated questions. Additionally, 20% of the paper consists of select response-type questions, which are mainly MCQs. The remaining 30% of the paper will include constructed response questions, following the existing pattern, such as short answer and long answer types.
