The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued show cause notice to thirty one schools in 2012. This was done in regard to the complaints related to non-fulfillment of land norms, lack of infrastructure, non-payment of salary, donation and other such issues.
Apparently, over the last three years, show cause notices have been already issued to fifty nine schools, including thirty one in 2012.
Out of these numbers nine schools were withdrawn while six others were downgraded, also advisories were issued to forty four schools.
CBSE has also directed all schools to develop their own websites having comprehensive and elaborate information about the facilities and other details.
