CBSE scholarship for girl child

Q: I am a student of class 10 and the only girl child of the family. I am interested in the scholarship provided by CBSE for the only girl child. How should I apply for the same?

A: CBSE provides scholarship for single girl child every year for different scholarship schemes on the basis of examinations conducted by board. The eligibility criteria for obtaining the scholarship is- the girl should be an Indian national, should be the only girl child of her parents (no sibling), and should be a student of CBSE in class X (ie passed class X from a CBSE affiliated school). The cut-off rank required for eligibility changes every year. All the applications must be certified along with signature/ stamp of the Principal of the present school where the student is studying. In case applications are not attested the same will be rejected.
