1. Technician (Field & Farm): 2 posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band 1of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000

Qualifications: Matriculate with at-least one year certificate in Fish farm/Aquaculture.
2. Technician (Plumber): 1 post
Pay Scale: Pay Band 1of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 years
Qualifications: Matriculate with at-least one year certificate in Plumbing.
3. Technical Assistant: 1 post

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fishery Science/Life Science with Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology.

Age Limit: (as on 1 January 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 35 years
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Fishery Science/M.Sc.in Zoology with specialization in Fisheries Science/Marine Biology.
5. Senior Technical Officer (Field & Farm): 1 post
Pay Scale: Pay Band 3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400
Age Limit: (as on 1 January 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 35 years
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Fish Genetics & Biotechnology/Fisheries Biotechnology/Marine Biotechnology.
NOTE: Maximum age limit is relax-able up to five years for SC/ST/VJNT/SBC candidates and up to 3 years for OBC.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written test/Interview.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.
Candidates called for Interview will be required to produce original documents/certificates for verification.
Selected candidates will be posted at the CIFE HQ and its sub centers at Powerkheda, Rohtak, Kakinada and Kolkata.
