Chennai Metro Rail Limited invited application for recruitment to the posts of Station Controller/ Train Operator, Jr. Engineer and Technician Vacancies. The eligible candidates can apply through online format before 16 February 2013.

Eligibility Criteria

Age

The candidate applying for the post should not exceed the age of 28 years.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should have first class degree in Three years Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical (EEE), and Electronics & Communication (ECE) for Post 1 & 2 and Minimum SSLC with ITI in specific trade with 55% marks for post 3 from any recognized Institute.

Application Fee

The candidate are required to pay the application fee of Rs.500/- for all & Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates (for processing & postage charge). The fee will be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of M/s Chennai Metro Rail Limited, Chennai payable at Chennai. The application number, candidate’s name, address and mobile number are to be indicated at the backside of the Demand Draft.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Online Test, Psychometric Test, Proficiency in Tamil & Medical exam for post 1, Online Test, Proficiency in Tamil & Medical exam for post 2 & 3.

The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through the website www.chennaimetrorail.gov.in from before 16 February 2013.
