CMAT Exam 2015: General Awareness & Language Comprehension preparation

    Common Management admission test (CMAT) is to be conducted from 19th to 22nd February 2015. The most important sections which are relatively easier to attempt are General Awareness and Language Comprehension. With a few days left in the exam , last minute tips are always helpful.

    Language Comprehension in CMAT 2015 Exam:

    Language Comprehension has questions on Sentence correction, Sentence completion, Paragraph completion. CMAT Exam has 25 questions in each section. One needs to know the basic grammar for questions like finding the errors, sentence completion. Also, one needs to have strong vocabulary to tackle questions on Antonyms, Synonyms, finding the meaning etc.

    General Awareness in CMAT 2015 Exam:

    General Awareness includes static General Knowledge, Current Affairs on National and International issues, Sports, Awards etc. General Awareness for CMAT cannot be prepared in a single day. It needs one to be in continuous touch with the things happening around. CMAT General Awareness too has 25 questions in it with 4 marks each.

    As there is a negative marking in CMAT Exam 2015, aspirants should be careful while they attempt questions. It is always advisable to go for only those questions about which you are confident. Or at least you are confident about a few options.

    It will be a good start, if one goes through the previous year CMAT Exam question papers.
