CSIR- Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, a constituent National Laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Institute, invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 1 post of Project Assistant [Level-II] on a temporary contractual basis. The recruitment is for the SERB sponsored research project entitled "Novel controlled delivery systems for bio-active flavourants using bio-degradable polymers and proteins for effective applications in food and beverages" (GAP-0440), tenable at the Department of Spices and Flavour Science (SFS), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, Karnataka. Interested candidates can apply before 18 November, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have a first class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry / Nano Science / Nano Technology/ with good academic records. He/She should have experience on Spice biomolecules isolation, characterisation and applications too.

Age limit (as on 18 November 2014)

Candidate should be below 28 years, which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and OBCs. 

Pay scale

Selected candidate will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- per month as per SERB / CSIR Rules.
