Age will be reckoned as on 2 July 2013. Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
List of candidates shortlisted for Interview will be displayed on CSIR-CSIO website.
Selected candidates will be liable to be transferred anywhere in India under administrative control of CSIR / CSIR-CSIO
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fees of Rs.100 have to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Director, Central Scientific Instruments Organisation’ payable at State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Branch Code No.1443).
SC/ ST/ PWD/ Regular employees of CSIR and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should apply online through CSIO website www.csio.res.in till 2 July 2013.
After successful submission of online application form, candidates should take its print out and send it along with attested copies of relevant certificates / testimonials / documents and fee Demand Draft and send it to “The Director, CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh-160030” so as to reach the said office on or before 9 July 2013 (1730 hours)
(Candidates should write their Name, name of the post applied for and post code number at the back of DD).
On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of_______” Post Code No____.
