The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Delhi University (DU)
Educational Qualification: BSc Chemistry (Hons.) with minimum 60% or above marks in aggregate or in BSc Chemistry Programme/ BSc General with 70% or above marks in aggregate from University of Delhi. Candidate must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination recognized by the University of Delhi with Mathematics.
Selection Procedure for Admission in Delhi University (DU): A Candidate must have qualified the JAM 2012 for admission to MSc Chemistry, conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
How to Apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU): Application form can be obtained from Office of the Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi on all working days between 10.30 am to 3.30 pm on cash payment of Rs 250 or it can be downloaded free of cost from the University website or can be obtained by post on remitting a Bank Draft of Rs 250 in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at State Bank of India Service Branch, New Delhi (Code no. 7687). Application form downloaded from the website can be deposited in the Department of Chemistry along with a Bank Draft of Rs 250 in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi. Draft must be purchased only from the branches of State Bank of India
