Delhi University notified regarding the release of an eighth cutoff list that will be scheduled on Tuesday, 23 July 2013. It is estimated that probably list for general category may release along with the SC, ST and OBC categories.
Delhi University usually finishes the general category seats after the fifth cutoff. However, this year admissions under the general category continued till the seventh cutoff list especially Commerce course which is available in 14 DU colleges.
On Friday, registrar issued the notification states that probably more seats may available for general students. In additional, ample seats are available for SC, ST and OBC category candidates in various courses. The varsity repeated that colleges will check whether all reserved seats are duly filled with the eligible candidates through reducing the cutoff to the minimum level for admission.
If the SC/ST seats going begging, on 26 July college will inform the conversion of the empty SC seats to ST and vice versa. After that admission will occur from 26 July to 29 July 2013. Admission will close by 31 July 2013
