Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs.15600 -39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600 per month.

Place of posting: New Delhi

Mode of Recruitment: on Deputation basis (including short-term contract)

Period of deputation (including short term contract): not exceed four years

Eligibility Criteria

Officers under the Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territories/ PSUs/ Agricultural Universities/ Research Institutions/ Semi-government/ Autonomous/ Statutory Organizations holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; OR with 5 years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs.10000-15200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; and possessing

Educational Qualification

Degree in Agriculture and Post-graduate degree in Agriculture with specialization in any branches of Agriculture Sciences or equivalent and 10 years’ experience in Agricultural Development/ Extension/ Research in various food/ cash crops.

Age limit

56 years
