Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment in Department of School Education (DSE), Andhra Pradesh
- Educational Qualification
a) School Assistants: Candidates must possess Bachelors Degree & BEd Degree in concerned subject, also having APTET pass certificate/ Memorandum of Marks
b) Language Teachers: The candidates must possess Bachelors Degree & BEd Degree in concerned subject, also having APTET pass certificate/ Memorandum of Marks
c) Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT): The candidate must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, AP or Any other & DEd Certificate, also having APTET pass certificate/Memorandum of Marks
d) Physical Education Teachers (PET): The candidates must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or equivalent & UGDPEd or Bachelor's Degree and a BPEd or MPEd recognised by NCTE
- Age Limit (as on 1 July 2012): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 39 years

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (80%) and TET (20%) in all categories of posts except PET for which selection shall be on the basis of written test (100%) only
